Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences (MILS) participated in the Golden Jubilee Livestock & Pet Expo, organized by the Myanmar Veterinary Association (Central), held from 25 to 26 January at the Yangon Convention Centre.
At the exhibition, MILS showcased a range of its key food safety and laboratory diagnostic services, including:
Microbiological testing for food and feed samples
Mycotoxin analysis
Antibiotic residue testing
Food industry hygiene assessment services
Ready-to-use microbiological testing materials and tools
Other related laboratory and food safety support services
These services highlight MILS’s commitment to advancing reliable, science-based solutions for ensuring safer food and feed systems across Myanmar.
Knowledge-Sharing Session Supported by MILS
On 25 January, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, MILS supported and hosted a knowledge-sharing session facilitated by Dr. Tun Kyi (Independent Technocraft, Livestock Development Task Team, Myanmar Uphold).
The session featured expert speakers:

Dr. Thiha Naung, Founder, K.Amara Business Group
Ma Aye Aye Thwel, Aung Myay Thit (Feed, Veterinary Medicines, and Pork Trading)
Under the theme “Let’s Use Alternative Medicines to Reduce Antibiotic Overuse,” the discussion focused on the use of probiotics as an alternative solution for livestock health management. Speakers shared practical insights and field experiences on reducing antibiotic dependency and promoting responsible livestock production practices.
